Fibroblasts

Fibroblasts

Fibroblasts
are connective tissue cells that fill the spaces between the other tissues of the body. Among its many functions the production of collagen stands out. This is one of the main structural proteins of connective tissue, which has the ability to aggregate platelets, facilitating stabilization of wound repair and tissue regeneration.

To carry out the fibroblast culture, a small sample of skin is needed. It will be processed for 3 to 4 weeks under strict biosafety conditions and then will be sent to the professional in charge of the application.

Its use in dentistry is effective and successful in the treatment of gingival recession, reduced surgical time and improvement of the quality of life of patients.
